My name is Kristin Fehrman and I’ve lived in the Cass Corridor neighborhood of Midtown, Detroit since August 2022.
Born and raised on the very unwalkable highway of M22 in Traverse City, I’ve lived as a car-free pedestrian in San Francisco, Charlotte, New York City, Chicago, Boston, and even three years in my hometown. My childhood absolutely influenced my passion for walkable communities and safer streets for all.
After 15 years of exploration and experiences across the US, I’m happy to create my own home here in Detroit. Merging my Up North roots with a love for urban living, I can envision a sustainable future for both myself and the community around me.
When I’m not out and about in the city, I work in addiction recovery and am a writer, artist, and designer. I‘m passionate about nature, personal empowerment, living simply, and sharing our stories. Thank you for being a part of mine.
